The Whole Spectrum
Life is about the journey, not the destination. By
Catherine Campbell Introduction For those of you who do not know me, my name is Catherine Campbell. I was asked by a friend many years ago, to compile a booklet explaining to others, in as simple a way as I possibly could, the reality of life as we see it, what we are doing in our work and how we are doing it. That was many years ago, I have been asked by clients, friends and loved ones to rewrite this booklet and perhaps turn it into a book, this I assumed I would have time to do when I left Ireland in 2002 for Spain, but alas it wasn’t done. Like so many other things in life, something else took precedence. Namely, getting married to a wonderful man named Philip Sutcliffe and spending four glorious years of bliss in Spain, the longest honeymoon on record! Everyone asked us if we were mad returning to Ireland, but we missed the green of Ireland and the warmth of the Irish people. Now that we have come to live in Ireland, I will amend this booklet from my home in Gorey, Co Wexford. I am a Spiritual healer, a chakra balancer and a teacher of metaphysical and esoterical subjects. I am psychic and can see and hear what is not usually apparently clear to others, but totally natural to me. I practice my healing and teach from my home. I also teach and train healers. My work consists of seeing clients by appointment, with all sorts of problems, be that physical, mental, emotional or spiritual, bringing all my healing abilities together be that spiritual healing, psychology or my gift of psychic mediumship. My gifts seem to come in a package, nothing separate, all blending perfectly, I know I am not the one in control here, it is as if I am an onlooker watching as this takes place. Sometimes clients may need an energy clearance and a boost to their own energy centres and auras. Sometimes advice about diet, life, relationships, family, career, whatever is needed, it always seems as if someone else is feeding me information and even putting words into my mouth, surprising me as well as the client/patient. It is not like some great revelation, but more like as if I have known this person all my life and know everything about them. I now know through practice, that I know all I need to know, for this particular client at this particular time in their lives. If you are wondering how this is happening I will try to explain, we are all one, all connected to each other, It seems like an antenna is attached to each of us, these antennas are all connected through what appears like a tram line to me. I tune in and let go, allowing whatever information I need to come through to me, so I can then help direct people to remain on the right path, be that their emotional state, their physical bodies or their spiritual paths, these are all connected one to the other, we are Holistic beings. Also we all have guidance on this journey through life and our own healing team. My team of Guides and yours are also all connected, so with the help of the spirit world and our own connections, the problems are pointed to and healed. This happens so naturally, it is as simple as breathing. As soon as I get a call from a client for an appointment, I tune into them to see exactly what it is they need, or what their main problems are. My healing, psychic and or psychological abilities immediately come to the fore, as if I am being switched on like a television. This happens so automatically that I don’t even have to think about it. I get to work straight away on the client before I have even met them. Sometimes people come into my mind before they have even phoned for an appointment. Once a month I run a week-end Certificate workshop, on a Whole Spectrum of subjects. I train others in the healing field over a six week intensive Certificate Healing course, my job is to help people bring out their own natural psychic gifts, for those who have and want to tune into their own ability to heal. This course covers all aspects of healing. I also run an eight-week Course called ‘A Spiritual Journey Series.’ A meditation, dream interpretation and open discussion group, weekly. I have and am willing to give talks and run other workshops away from home whenever necessary, or when asked to by someone authentic and reliable. Knowing for most of my life that what I had assumed to be normal was actually classed as different from the ‘normal’ person, I went in search of answers to the reality of life when I was a teenager. Partly out of curiosity and partly to prove to myself that I was normal and found to my delight that what I had was a gift. Discoveries about the realities of life and why we are all here, I certainly did find, and a lot more besides, which all made perfect sense to me. I studied, read, wrote, did innumerable courses and workshops. I became an insatiable student, I soon discovered the extent of my own unusual abilities, and that others had similar or the same abilities as I had. At last I was no longer ashamed or afraid to tell others what I know, see, hear or what I was! In my long search for answers I also realised that others did not realise their own potential. So I began the process of passing onto others all the information that was available to us all. I have found that my main task here is not only to heal, but also to teach others all I have learned and to show others the power they also have within them. Psychic abilities and Healing are no longer thought of as weird, and neither are the people who practice them, thank goodness. We are very ordinary beings, with the same habits, worries and family problems as everyone else. We just have extra abilities and gifts, which are totally natural to us, but we also have a lot of work to do, simply because we have them and we are never off duty. We all have abilities and gifts, of one sort or another; most of us do not even tap into the abilities we have. Whatever your gift is, it will show itself and be just the gift you need. We receive all our needs in this life, maybe not all our wants. SimplicityI am writing this pamphlet in the hope that I might be able to explain to you, in simple terms ‘The reality of Life’. There is certainly more to life than meets the eye. Some people amble though life, without a thought, care or question. I was definitely not one of those people. I was always curious, always questioning, I wondered what made people do and say nasty things. While other people were so full of kindness, caring and loving. I also wondered if there was more to life than what we were told and taught? Was there an Afterlife? If so, what was it like? Were we here before? Did we really have guardian angels? Could people really tell the future? How did others and I know what was going to happen? How did healing actually work? Why were there so many religions? Which of them had it right, or did any of them have it right? Was it all to do with power? Why did we come into being? The questions I had were endless. I was studying psychology and holistic living in UCD, when I discovered most of the answers that I had been searching for. I had always known certain things, tell what was about to happen etc, but I just assumed everyone could do this, just as I assumed everyone could heal and see auras. I spent my every moment studying, doing courses and workshops, from philosophy, psychology, healing, colour, crystals, magnetic therapy, numerology, acupuncture, spatiality, cranial sacral therapy, as well as studying the great philosophers and psychologists. You could say that I was frantically looking for answers to my myriad of questions. Answers I found, I uncovered truths that made perfect sense to me. Glib answers never sat well with me. I wanted facts; I wanted some sort of proof, facts I found. Some of the answers I found were not easy to prove to others. Seeing is believing they say and I have seen and still see strange phenomena everyday. Only strange, by way of being different from our normal or usual range of vision. Once my search began the strange became, even stranger, the abilities I had became even more pronounced. I had always seen energy around people and wondered what I was seeing; it looked like tadpoles floating around the atmosphere. Then I saw colours, mainly around people, or they would waft past me, sometimes forming a shape, this could happen with my eyes open or closed. When I saw a rainbow of colours above my shadow on a wall, I was flabbergasted. From that day on, I could see colour in aura’s more clearly and understood exactly what I was seeing. I could always see light around people and knew by the brightness of the light whether the person was healthy and happy, or feeling low, ill or depressed. An aura is an electromagnetic field of energy that is around everything and everyone. This aura can vary in colour, density, size, and shape. Aura’s can be photographed with Kirlian photography, at least with this phenomena, I discovered there was proof of what I was seeing. When I was twelve I was sent to boarding school, it was while I was in school that I discovered I was picking up everyone else’s aches and pains. I was having stomach cramps regularly, one day the penny dropped, I was having period pains and they were not mine. I looked around and discovered by looking at others aura’s who had the stomach cramps, as soon as I sent them healing, my pain left. After this as soon as I had a pain and realized it wasn’t mine, I sent healing and my pain left. To this day I know instantly when I get an ache or pain that it is someone near me who has the pain. I discovered that we are all made up of energy, vibration and colour, all coming from energy centres within our own body, called chakras. By seeing the aura, we can tell exactly what is either right or wrong with a person. If any one of these energy centres is blocked, it will show itself in the body and the aura. Making the discovery that we were all here before, that we had other earth lives, made perfect sense to me. There is documented evidence of this available, from people who remembered being in another country in another century, telling stories about themselves and others, things they could not possibly know of. Finding out facts about past lives helped me to understand why some people seem to have very hard lives and others, to have a relatively easy journey through life. We get exactly what we need in life, the right family and friends, even the illnesses and diseases we get, are no accident. We are all on a journey, learning lessons as we go along, the lessons we alone need to learn. What we sow, so shall we reap. We are now reaping the rewards of not only this life but our own past lives too. There are no accidents, no coincidences, there is no good or bad luck, we have all we will ever need in this lifetime. Even our time for being born and leaving, was decided before we came into this lifetime. A plan has been designed for mankind; we are part of this plan. What we make of this plan is entirely up to us. We are always in control; we helped to create our own plan with the help of our own spiritual helpers and guides, for our own benefit. Karma is true justice, be that good or bad. Looked on as balancing scales, the better our life is, the more we deserved it. We choose our own karma to balance the scales. It is never too soon or too late to change our way of life. Coming to the realisation that we get exactly what we deserve, however we have treated others will eventually be meted out to us. This ought to make us stop and think twice before we do harm to others and ourselves. Thinking badly of others can do as much harm to us, as it does to them. Thoughts are energy, energy can go in and out of everything, and cannot be destroyed. Everything we give out, we get back, some say tenfold, a staggering thought. Energy can however be changed from negative to positive, if you have a negative thought about someone, you can immediately change it to a positive thought. Whatever you read in this booklet are my views, which I truly believe in, what you want to believe is entirely up to you. I think it is healthy to question everything one reads, to keep an open mind at all times. Being sceptical is healthy. I have found that the simpler that we keep things, the better. The answers I found were not only obvious to me but also very logical. Common sense is one of the most important things we have in life, use it regularly and wisely. Be careful while investigating what is classed as the paranormal or spirituality, there is always the possibility that some people go over the top and become spaced. Never forget the reason we are here on this earth, to be human. We are spiritual beings having an earth or human experience, which we chose. So stay grounded and keep your head out of the clouds, use your normal common sense at all times. THE POWER TO CHANGEWithin us all is the power to change. Suppose I were to tell you, that whatever your thoughts are now, today, will become your reality tomorrow. Would you change your way of thinking, would your thoughts be more positive? Thoughts are energy, and energy cannot be destroyed once created, it can be changed into positive energy, energy sticks to everything and us like Velcro. If you were to imagine yourself standing in front of a mirror, thinking negatively about yourself, the energy that you would be creating would be dull and heavy. If you could see that energy, it would be dark, to stop that dark energy returning right back to you, you would have to change it to light, or change your thought to a positive thought. If you were to stand in front of the same mirror thinking positively, that same positive energy would come straight back to you. We create our own reality, simply by the way we think. We create our own illness and disease. So instead of creating negativity and bad health, change your way of thinking. Think only in a positive manner about yourself and others. Start simply by changing every little thought you have during the day to a positive thought, if you slip up and have a negative thought about yourself or others just change that thought. This becomes easier with practice. One day you will realise that you are thinking positively all the time. Every single thought you have today forms our tomorrow. No one has the power over us; we can think anything we want. We are our own power, we are the creators of our own futures. To blame others for any predicament that we find ourselves in is a total waste of our time and energy. If we think negatively, we get negativity. Changing our way of thinking becomes easier with practice. If you feel others are sending you negative thoughts, visualise those thoughts and the person, in light. We do not need to take on board others negativity, say thank you but no thank you and send it back, not in a nasty way or an attacking way. Think about it, energy we created is stored in our memory banks, be that good or bad, so we not only have to change out thoughts now, but also our past thoughts and actions. Blame, anger, hatred, bitterness and old grudges must all be brought to the fore, dealt with and dumped. No one has the power to hurt us unless we give them the power to do this. Take back control of your life, get to know yourself thoroughly. Our imaginations are the best advantage we have. We can go anywhere, see anything we like, or create any wonderful feelings and thoughts we want. There are no restrictions on our minds, only the ones we put on ourselves. Imagine that in front of you there is a blackboard, containing all your past negative thoughts, now with a large duster, wipes the slate clean. Begin again and put on your blackboard a new programme for yourself. Fill your blackboard with kind, loving thoughts about yourself and others. If you have health problems, put this on your blackboard, along with the thoughts you had about your illness, now wipe it clean and put your new way of thinking and health on the board. See yourself vibrating with love, vitality and good health. The possibilities we have with our minds is staggering. The power we have is endless; start using your mind to your own advantage. We can improve our lives just as easily as we can destroy them. Whatever we give out we will get back. Be nice to yourself and to others. If you have any negative thoughts about others, put them on your blackboard; wipe away any negativity in your life. Do not put off changing your way of thinking, do it now, today, before you do un-reparable damage to your health. Think before you speak, about yourself and others. We can all have a better way of life, with just a little thought and consideration. We are all on our own path, trying to reach a stage of awareness and enlightenment. Why do we go against each other? We ought to help each other more, why not treat others the way that you would like them to treat you. They say we only get to heaven on the arm of someone we have helped. Imagine that the person you have the most trouble with, is the very person who will help you achieve your destination and purpose, so do not be too quick to criticise, judge and condemn others. HEALINGWe all have the ability to heal, when a child is crying, we automatically comfort them. If we hurt ourselves, we immediately touch the hurt part of ourselves. When we have a headache we put our hands to our heads. Healing comes to us all totally naturally. There are people who have a natural talent for healing others, a gift they came into this life with. This gift can go unnoticed for a long time, but will eventually come to the fore. This ability is special and should never be abused. These people are called healers, but in fact they are only channels for healing energy. There is only one source of healing and that is God. We are all part of God. A healer can remove blocks in the energy field and body, putting healing energy into a person’s body, allowing healing to take place naturally. We are the only ones who create these blocks in ourselves. Depending on what created the blocks, the length of time we are blocked and the inability to face what created the block, we may need the help for a qualified healer. When my children were small and had a pain, I automatically sent them healing. I visualised a healing beam going from me to them. Knowing that the pain would vanish. When I got ill, I refused medical help, knowing that I was the best one to heal myself. I was never in any doubt that healing would work. I cannot explain my confidence, but confident I was. I did think for many years that everyone could do this. When the penny dropped and I realised I was a healer, I was very doubtful, thinking that healers were supposed to be very religious. I believed in God, but would never have classed myself as a very religious person. I have always been spiritual and always believed I had a guardian angel with me to protect me, this was not a great revelation, but an inner knowing that was always present. I had a lot to learn about life, religion and the reality of life in general. Healing myself was enough to convince me that I was definitely a healer. I used my imagination to the full. I imagined my hands were full of light and wherever I put them, I would heal. I imagined the bath to be the healing pond, the wind, sun and rain, blowing, warming and washing any disease away. I imagined a bank of healing lights above me, with whatever colour I needed, switching on automatically. There was no end to my imagination, as soon as I thought it, it was done, I could see it, and it worked. We can all use our minds and imagination to heal ourselves. The basic thing is, believe it and it will work. Use the techniques that suit you and use them. Imagine yourself surrounded in white light of protection, to offset others anger and negativity towards you. Put up your own imaginary barricade of protection. Surround yourself with the blue light of healing for any aches and pains. When in the shower, I imagine the water blue, healing, soothing, calming and relaxing me. Imagining the debris going down the plughole, being turned into light somewhere. I then change the light to white, feeling the protection guarding me for the day ahead. If you are not having a shower, imagine that you are under a bright light, bringing the blue light through you and the white light around you. Let your mind get carried away when you are healing, yourself and others. There is no limit to what we can visualise, nothing is impossible with the imagination. We can go anywhere, achieve anything and it works. The spirit is the life; the mind is the builder; and the body is the result. Make your mind start working for you and not against you. We can send healing to others in the very same way as we can heal ourselves. We can send others colours, beams of light, imagine aches and pains vanishing. If we do not know what the person needs, we can ask that they receive whatever they most need and they will get it. We do not want to interfere in others lives, so we always ask that they receive healing only if it is for their highest good. Learning healing techniques are very useful but if a person does not have empathy and compassion to heal in this lifetime, no amount of teaching will give it to them. To heal others takes a lot of love and compassion, an empathetic natured person, one who makes no judgement, gives love willingly and sees others as equals. To my way of thinking, healing is pure unconditional love and what better way to show it than healing. Understanding people, their needs, wants, fears, stress’s, illnesses and diseases, is all part of a healer's job. Using all your psychology training is very much needed. Our job is not to judge, but to help whenever and wherever we can. Going to a healer can be a help in so many ways. The healer can help you not only to heal, but also to understand what it is you are doing or not doing, that is making you unwell. A good healer ought to be a good listener and make the client feel better in every way about themselves. A healer works holistically on the mind, body and spirit. We cannot do healing properly unless we look at the whole being and all three are looked after. Expecting a healer to create miracles in you life, if you are not willing to make the changes that are needed, is impractical. We play the major role in our own healing. As a healer if I know that a patient/client is eating the very things that are creating the problems in their systems, then unless they change what they are eating, the problems will return again. In the same regard, if people have very rigid and closed minds, seeing things only in black and white, then unless they leave themselves open to change, nothing will ever change for them. If we always do what we have always done, then we will always get what we have always got. None of us have all the answers, stay open mentally, emotionally and spiritually to take on board what works for you and dump the rest. Also our body constantly tells us what is good for us and what does us harm. Begin a new way of looking at life, start listening to your own body. If you are tired, rest. Nature has a way of sorting out most of our problems, learn to let go of fears and worries. Relax and go with the flow of life. Nothing ever stays the same; change is inevitable in all our lives. But more importantly the body knows best what is good for it and how to heal itself, as long as we do not interfere with that process. Miracles happen all the time, it is when miracles don’t happen we should wake up and smell the coffee! THE CHAKRA SYSTEMWe have within us seven major energy centres in our body. These energy centres are called chakras, from the Sanskrit word for vortex. They are cone shaped, all coming out from the spine, opening outwards, with energy flowing freely in and out. Our organs and glands need this energy, to remain healthy. There is a new Chakra which I began seeing about thirty years ago, it is Turquoise in colour, between the heart and throat chakras, this chakra to me denotes change and transformation. This chakra is not developed in everyone, only those whose lives are being transformed by their own search in spiritually. It is on the thymus gland. The chakras should be able to open and close at will. Closing to protect us from any outward negativity when needed. Opening wider when we need extra energy in any organ. If for any reason a chakra closes or blocks and we can no longer open it, the glands, organs and that part of the body will suffer. The energy will stagnate inside. First, there will be aches and pains then illness and disease will set in, depending on the length of time and degree of the closure or block. The first chakra, is at the base of the spine and is our get up and go centre, our will to live and independence centre. If this is closed we could become first sad, lonely, depressed and eventually give up the will to live. If it is too open, we might be too aggressive and angry. The colour is Red. The second chakra, is our emotional centre, it lies just below the navel. If this becomes closed we could feel emotionally inadequate; we would lack drive and vitality. If it is too open we might feel overly emotional, upset easily by others. The colour of this chakra is Orange. The third chakra, is the solar plexus. It is the centre of all our thoughts and intellect. If this centre is closed, we would feel very under confident, afraid and nervous, uncreative and our intellect would be sluggish. If the third chakra was too open, we could be arrogant. The third chakra is Yellow. The fourth chakra, is the balance centre, the centre of love, compassion and unconditional love. If this centre were too closed, we would not know how to love unconditionally and be mean. If it were too open we would be erratic in our behaviour and gushing in affection, an affectation of love. This centre has two colours Green and Pink. The fifth chakra, is the throat. This is the centre of will, expression and communication. If this centre were closed, we would not be able to talk up for ourselves, have no will power and lack the will and drive to make an effort. If this centre were too open, we would be overly talkative not listening and might even egotistical. This chakra is Blue. The sixth chakra, which is also called the third eye centre, is our intuitive centre. The centre of intuition and psychic knowing. If this centre were closed, we would not be looking at things clearly, putting on the blinkers. If the centre is too open, we could be a bit over dramatic and over imaginative. This centre is in the middle of the forehead. The colour is Indigo. The seventh chakra, is the total awareness centre. The centre of enlightenment, concentration and cosmic consciousness. If this centre is closed, it is because we have closed out minds to what is going on all around us, maybe thinking we are always right, our concentration and then our memories become closed. If this centre is too open, we become gullible, spaced and ungrounded. This centre is at the top of the head. The colour is Violet. Our chakras are also associated with an organ and gland in the body. If any chakra is blocked, then that organ and gland beside it may also suffer. When a chakra is open and the energy flowing freely, rotating in a clockwise motion, the chakra can take in energy and discard it, whenever needed. The chakras should all be rotating in the same direction, all going the same speed. The chakras can be seen. They are all definite in colour. If they are washy or dull, there is a problem. The aura reflects the colours from the chakras, if all the chakras are open and clear in colour, the aura will also be bright and clear. If you are feeling unwell, off colour, tired, depressed, overly anxious, nervous and unable to relax, have aches or pains, then one or more of your chakras are probably closed or blocked. Chakra balancing and healing will clear and unblock the chakras that need attention. Allowing energy to once again flow properly. I have found doing chakra balancing and healing, that we cover up problems all through our loves when we cannot cope with them, this closes us down, or creates blocks in our energy system. Opening the centres allows all those past unloved, feelings of inadeqacy, to come to the fore to be dealt with and dumped. We often think we have dealt with problems and come to terms with our own feelings, opening the chakras, shows me that we may not have. What we have done is covered them over, swept them under the carpet, so to speak. Opening chakras, reveals all sorts of problems and hurts and gets right to the source of the original problem, allowing us to heal thoroughly, in mind, body and spirit. If only one chakra is blocked, it can create havoc with the whole system; we need all our energy centres open to be in perfect balance. The longer a chakra is blocked or closed the worse the problem will be in our mind, body and spirit. We are all born with each chakra totally open. As we grow and develop, we close them down. Sometimes by the time we reach maturity, we have no chakras left working properly. Our outlook on life has an amazing effect on us; we are what we think. Being open to everything in life, keeping an open mind, never judging or criticising ourselves or others will keep us open and energised. We are the only ones harming ourselves. It is never too late to change our outlook or our opinions of ourselves and others, Chakra balancing and healing, will open the centres on your first healing session. On your subsequent visits to a healer, if the chakras have remained open, they will more than likely stay open, if not the healer will go to an even deeper level to unblock whatever the original cause was to ensure that the chakra will now stay open. Healing and chakra balancing will always go where it is most needed, going deep, be that on the physical, the mental, and the spiritual or psychological level. Always getting to the root of any problem. Healing doesn’t treat a symptom, but a cause. People also go to healers if they are looking for direction in their lives, not only because a healer could be psychic, but also because by clearing the chakra system people are then open to change, able to see things as they really are. Healing brings an awareness of reality, which could have been clouded through lack of insight or problems, which we could not see clearly through blocked energy centres. Without our energy systems being open and flowing freely, we look on life and our own difficulties through a sort of fog. With a clear chakra system and a clear aura, we will be alert, alive, vivacious, contented and energetically healthy. With no fears for ourselves and a clear outlook on life. There is a feeling of confidence and contentment about life. Even problems that seemed enormous to us with a closed energy system now seem to be pretty obviously minor and easy to sort out. There would be a feeling of inner peace and contentment. Keeping an open mind, not being judgmental or critical of ourselves or others, dumping all old conditioning and guilt, will help to keep our energy systems open and clear. We so often live by the rules and regulations, but haven’t the faintest idea where these rules and conditions came from. Really look at your own life, how much of your troubles and problems are coming from those old outdated rules, regulations and old conditioning. Maybe it’s time to take a look at our old conditioning and the rules we live by, if they don’t feel right to you, dump them. It is never too soon to begin changing, if things have not worked for you because of your way of thinking, change it, no one else can. As children we were all taught about our Guardian Angels, as we grow up the idea seemed to fade away. Some children talked to their invisible friends, some parents rebuke their children for this, and others play along, not really understanding this strange association. We do have Guardian Angels, Spirit friends or guides, as they are best known today. The only reason more children than adults know about them is because children are totally open, unblocked, uncomplicated. They have no limits or restrictions on reality. Children see things for what they really are. On the other hand, we as adults learned how to close off things we don’t understand. We also learn very early on in life what not to talk about, for fear of being laughed at or rejected for. Hearing about guides now as adults, we again think, this cannot be true. I would have known about it before. We find it all rather hard to comprehend. By opening up all our energy centres we once again become open to change and new ideas. We become like children, trusting, believing and accepting in our beliefs. Before we came into this lifetime and every other lifetime we have had, it is decided between us who would be of most help to us for the lessons we came here to learn. We come on earth for our soul growth, to learn awareness, all part of our own evolutionary soul plan. We need help and help we get. We choose a particular guide for our own highest good, they choose us for the same reason. We have at least one main guide, but most people have many more. As we go through life experiencing different tasks and problems, guides with that very particular expertise will invariably come in to help us. These guides will probably already have had an earth experience, so can understand and help us with our problems, helping and even enjoying our loves, our joys, hopes and achievements. Our guides are experienced in anything that we might encounter. We can either accept or reject this help, it is our choice. Our main guide comes with us to this incarnation when we are born and leaves with us when we move on. This guide will be very well known to us over the aeons of time. The feeling of familiarity we have is often the reason we are unaware of their existence. We can speak to our guides whenever we like, just like children do, we can ask for help, advice, protection or answers, whatever we need is available to us. We can ask them to show us they are here, guide, us, answer our questions. Whatever you ask for, be sure you really want it and it is for your highest good, then sit quietly and await an answer. Our guides will never interfere with our lives, they do not want to control us, just guide us along the right path of life, for our highest good. They say praying is talking to God; meditation is listening for the answers, so learn to meditate. The only problem we all have with this arrangement is we have forgotten it. We come into each life having forgotten all our past mistakes and achievements. Our guide however does know what we are here for, what lessons we are here to learn so they will do their utmost to ensure we go in the right direction stay on the right path, prompting us along the way. If we are determined to ignore the prompts we are receiving, then there is not a lot our guides can or will do about it. We are free to live our lives as we choose to. We have free will, sometimes good, sometimes not so good. Guides already know that their task is not an easy one, a job of bringing humans to the light is no easy task, we have free will, which we use to our own detriment at times. The job of guidance is an important one. We are all on our own divine evolutionary journey, humans as well as guides; we are all climbing that evolutionary ladder. Depending on the length of time since a guide has been on earth, it can be difficult for them to appear to us in a form we will recognise or understand. Time and space questions can be difficult for them to understand. Talking to our guides on a regular basis becomes easier with practice, and easier for us to understand them. At first we think that whatever answers we are getting are just our own imaginations, but with time the penny drops, what we are asking for we are getting, and we are also getting the answers to our millions of questions, answers we could not have possibly known. Ask and you will find. Start simply by asking for a parking space, it works. Guides do appear to people, mainly but not always to people who have psychic abilities. If we are psychic it is because we are open to other realities other than what the usual person can see openly. They can appear as if in a human form, but not as solid looking, or just as an outline of light. Sometimes seeing light and colour can be enough for some people to know that there is a spirit present. Spirit beings usually appear as dots of either white or blue light. Spiritual guides are on a very high, light vibration. Our guides know exactly who can see them. They lower their vibration so we can see them and we raise ours so we meet somewhere between the two worlds. When you see tiny dots of light that is a spirit being. Guides and souls have reached a stage in their evolution, which enables them to be guides to us, helping us to get to their stage of awareness. Some guides had very few earth lives, if any. They are here for our benefit, to bring us back into the light. Do you ever feel there is someone near you, do you ever wonder what made you go to a certain place at a certain time, and did you ever wonder what put something into your mind? Do you ever talk to yourself and amazed by your answer. Do you wonder about coincidences in life; how you meet certain people, go certain places that seem to change your life? There are no accidents, no coincidences, we do not just happen to do, say and be in the right place and the right time. Our guides have been hard at work, making sure we get the message, go or do certain things that will turn out to be to our advantage. We can rely on our guides help and advice, they will never lead us astray, and they will always steer us in the right direction. We are the ones who are obstinate, but our guides will keep on trying. Take some quiet time every day to sit and listen. If you need help ask for it. God said ask and you will receive. Remember praying is talking to God; meditation is listening for the answers. The best way of knowing the difference between your imagination and your guides advice is, ask a question you do not know the answer to, wait for the answer, you will know the difference. Angels like guides have varied tasks, helping and directing us back on the right path, back to the light, God. Like Guides, Angels are messengers of God. I think we are all actually Angels it is just some of us are trying to find our way back. It is simply a matter of vibrations and dimensions, we are all one, all angelic, spiritual beings. PSYCHIC ABILITIES Being psychic is an inner knowing, not always easy to explain to others, there is no great big flash of inspiration, no brilliant trumpet sounding a message. It is just knowing. Have you ever known just what someone was about to say, have you ever felt that you knew exactly what was going to happen next, been somewhere before, know who is on the phone or at the door, that’s Psychism. Clairvoyance is the ability to see with inner vision, things that others do not normally see. To be clairvoyant, is to have exceptional insight, clear vision. It is like you have watched a movie; you saw all you needed to know about someone. Clairvoyance is also an ability to see auras, the future and spirit. Clairaudience is the ability to hear, what others cannot hear, you can hear mentally. Sometimes you can hear the phone ringing before it actually rings. You can hear someone calling your name, or even a name is being mentioned to you. An ability to hear spirit. For me the whole lot go together, when I see, I also hear. Clairsentience, is an inner feeling, an ability to pick upon from others feelings, emotions and senses, as if they were your own, this can also relate to health problems, as I mentioned I feel others aches and pains. Psychometry is the ability to tell from an object, things about the owner of the object. Be it a picture, stone, clothing or jewellery. Mediumship is the ability to see and speak to the spirits of those who have passed on. They speak between the two worlds, bringing messages to those who want them. Beings in the spirit world are not dead, they are more alive than we are, they are just on a different level of consciousness. The body dies but the spirit moves on. Mediums are the middle translator, so to speak between the two worlds. Being psychic covers them all; it is a psychical phenomenon, a knowing of the mind and soul, outside the domain of the natural and physical laws. There are lots of people now who are psychic. Some have one gift, but many more people have numerous gifts. It would seem there are more now than ever before. In my experience I am amazed at the amount of people; I have met who are psychic. If they are not fully psychic, they do seem to have one or more gifts. Some would say it is because of the New Age, as it is so called. Others say it is all because of a shift in consciousness, a growing in awareness, at a rate never known before. My belief is that there is a shift in earth people’s way of living, asking questions, not satisfied with old ways, people want change and they are doing something about it for themselves. They are beginning to think for themselves in so many ways, in religions, politics, work, leisure, of course some countries are still being dominated and not thinking for themselves. There are warped people right across the board in religious life, Teachers, politicians, banks, employers and employees. But there are a lot of good people too, hopefully more positive than negative. There is an enormous shift in people’s consciousness, there is a huge shift in cosmic consciousness, we and the earth are changing at a great speed. Soul growth, love and enlightenment, awareness of all there is, is at last open to us all. People are now seeing the reality of life for themselves; they now care about others, the earth, wildlife, the forest, lakes, rivers and seas and we are doing something about it. If this is new age, so be it. Any change that is good is welcome. I have never believed there was any need for a war, it is politicians and the power hungry people who create a war for their own gain and greed, but it is sadly an innocent soldier who thinks he is doing what is right, that loses his life. If you do have psychic abilities, they do not have to be exaggerated, there will be enough unusual phenomena happening to you. To abuse a psychic gift is not only dangerous, but also stupid, abused gifts can and are taken away if not used for the right reasons. Never exaggerate your gifts; you will become so flabbergasted, that you wonder whats next. Life is definitely stranger than fiction. Being psychic is not all a bed of roses, although it is great fun. Sometimes you know things about family and friends that you would rather not know. You learn to take the good with the bad. We must have chosen this gift. There is a magic switch inside all of us, a switch that we need to learn to turn off whenever we need rest. The only person who can find that switch is you. Learning how to relax is the first step, begin today by learning how to relax, take walks in the open air, read, listen to gentle music, or just sit down and unwind. The object of the exercise is to stop your mind wandering, to switch it off; there are lots of methods. You can say a mantra, which is one simple word you like the sound of and repeat it over and over again to yourself. This confuses the brain and stops the babble in your head. If any thoughts come into your mind, gently push them aside. Find a quite room that is warm and comfortable, sit in a relaxed manner, with your back straight, your arms and legs uncrossed. Listen to gentle music or a guided mediation tape. Take three deep breaths, breath in love and light, breath out all your stress and tension. Take at least ten to twenty minutes a day for yourself. Meditation becomes easier with practice. The sooner you begin to change your life, the sooner you will be a more relaxed, happy and healthy person. Praying is talking to God; mediation is listening for the answers. Meditation helps our minds to focus we become unflustered with a beautiful inner calm and peaceful within. Visualisation is a method of allowing your mind to go on a guided journey. Doctors and therapists all over the world are helping their patients to visualise their illnesses and disease’s away with tremendous results. With visualisation you can go anywhere, have anything or see anything you want. You can visualise that you have a healing room, containing every pill, potion and remedy, for anything that is wrong with you, then visualise it curing you. Visualise a healing bed, where you receive healing for whatever problem you have. Your healing room can contain healing lights and laser beams, a healing pond, which can heal you from head to toe, as soon as you step into it. You can have a coloured shower in your healing room that pours coloured water over you, giving you just the colour you need. Visualise yourself walking though a forest, smell the leaves and the trees, feel the soft earth beneath your feet. Feel a gentle breeze blowing away all your aches and pains. Feel the sun sprinkling down golden healing rays on you. Feel yourself becoming energised. Imagine yourself floating on a wave, in the middle of the ocean, enjoy the rhythm of the waves, hear the birds singing, see the sun and the white fluffy clouds, relax and go with the flow. Imagine a private garden that you alone can go into, in this garden you can create anything you want, with the power of your mind, you can weed and clean up this garden and make it perfect. Anything is possible with visualisation. We are the only ones putting limits on our own imaginations. We can switch off and go wherever we want, whenever we want. We are the creators of our own minds. With visualisation everything is possible, from relaxation to curing what is called incurable. If we could go from predicting the worst, to predicting the best, the foundation cure has been laid. REINCARNATION AND KARMA We are souls created in the likeness of God; we are a part of God. Because we have strayed from the path of righteousness, we are now trying to find our way back. Earth is a training ground for our soul’s development. We continue to come back into an earth life, until we learn the lessons we came to learn. Striving towards perfection and awareness of all that is. We are souls within a human body, we are spirits. In fact we are minds, body’s and spirits. Holistic beings, we must look after all three, if we neglect one, the whole will suffer. We also have free will, but it is what we do with this free will that is important. Imagine, if you will, that life is like climbing a ladder. Each rung is a lifetime. The object of this ladder is to reach the top. To move up a rung we have lessons that we need to learn, if we succeed, we move up, if we miss the lesson, we miss the rung, but if we miss the lesson and do harm to others on the ladder. We might go down a rung. Sometimes we have a lot to carry on the ladder, if we decide to dump our baggage onto others; we will have to begin again, with the same baggage plus more. It is entirely up to us, how we go about climbing the evolutionary ladder. We can accept what we have been given with good grace, or we can moan and groan, all the way up. If we are trying to be smart, we can get others to carry our baggage for us, only to realise afterwards, that the person we dumped on gets to move up the ladder, but we must go up again, carrying our own baggage. If we learn the lesson we came to learn, lived a good life, good to our fellow man, were kind and charitable. Helped to carry another’s cross. We will have done even more than we came to do. We could then move even further up the ladder, maybe even skip a rung. Every single thing we have in this life, we have for a reason, our family, friends, jobs, problems, illness and diseases. We chose these to help us reach the top. Moaning, groaning and complaining now, about our terrible existence, is only adding to our problems. We must learn to accept life and what we have. We only have the problems we can cope with. These are our own lessons. When we pass on, the body dies, but the soul moves on. We look with God, our guides and our helpers, at out lifetime. We examine why we came, what lessons we had to learn we look at how well we did, did we achieve what we set out to achieve, or did we fail, on all counts. There is no judge or jury system; we are our own worst judges. We decide how well we did; we see if we could have done better, we look at how we treated our fellow man, the lessons we came with and how we dealt with them. We then decide with the help of our guides if we want to return, if so when and where we should come back and with whom, who would be of the most benefit for our next journey on the ladder. If we have not done well we are the ones who decide to come back. Karma is true justice, what you sow, so shall you reap. Every situation we find ourselves in be that good or bad, we deserved. Just rewards. The largest part of the learning is our acceptance of our own situations. Knowing the reality of life and our reason for being is surely of benefit to us. Knowing that we are all here for the same reason, all trying to reach a perfect state of awareness, why are we not helping each other more, now we understand, we ought to change our whole way of thinking, living, helping and protecting each other. We are all equal in Gods eyes; we should be all equal in each other’s eyes. There are no masters, no slaves; we are all souls growing together towards perfection. There is no hierarchy in Spirit, we are all one, Angels, Humans, God. We are all one. It was decided before we came into this incarnation, when we would leave and return to spirit. If our time is up, we go home. This is something we all need to learn to accept. If we are ill and go for healing, healing will be received on some level. If our time is not up, we may be healed if is for our highest good, only. Our fate is set. We must learn to go with the flow. We are not only reaping what we sow right now, but what we sowed in our previous lifetime. The spirit world is home, we are only visiting this place called earth for a lifetime, perhaps many, many lifetimes, but we are all very relieved when we go home. Home is where we all belong. THE HUMAN AURAThe energy around every human body is called an aura. We all have one; the absence of an aura means impending death. An aura can be a few inches from the body or a few feet; every single aura is different. It is around the whole body, above the head and below the feet, as if going under ground. The aura comes from the inside out, the light of the soul. It comes from the chakras. Every colour of the aura tells us something about the person. There is good and bad in every colour. A dark aura is a sign of depression; a bright aura is a sign of good health. We can sense an aura, have you ever walked into a room and knew a row had just taken place, did you ever sense that someone across a room was looking at you. Have you ever felt a tingle behind you, when you could not hear someone approaching you? Do you ever feel that someone does or does not like you? Do you know when a person is feeling down? These are all the signs of transference of energies. When we think of a person, our aura touches theirs and vice versa. Which explains how when we think of someone, they phone. An aura can also be felt, rub your hands together vigorously, now palms facing each other, slowly bring them together, without touching, slowly bring them apart again, and once again slowly bring them together. You will feel a magnetic pull. Now point one finger, toward the palm of your opposite hand, draw an imaginary line onto your palms, without touching. If you do not feel anything rub your hands together and try again. To see an aura, you will need a partner, sit your partner down opposite you, with their eyes closed, and their legs and arms uncrossed, to prevent energy blocks. Be as relaxed as you can possibly be, do not strain your eyes; the more relaxed you are the easier it is to see an aura. Concentrate on your subject’s third eye, the centre of the forehead, this is only for beginners. You will eventually see a white light coming around the back of a person’s head, as if a light had been switched on behind them. Try not to move your vision for the time being, or you will lose it. The aura vibrates constantly; it never stays the same, every thought we have changes our aura. After you have seen the light, you will begin to see colour. You might see one very dominant colour, or a collection of colours. Practice makes perfect when seeing auras; it becomes easier all the time. After a while you will see aura’s every where you go. When you start to see auras do not interpret them, they change so quickly, what you see might be gone by the time you tell your subject what colour they are. Your mood can also be a factor in what you perceive in others, because we see others aura’s through our own. We learn from experience, what colours mean what; we all know what a nice colour is. If the colour is bright and vibrant, the person is bright and vibrant. If the colours are dark and blotchy, the person is feeling very off colour. The aura does not lie. We cannot hide what we are feeling or thinking. A ROUGH GUIDE TO AURIC COLOURSRed, can be energy, independence, drive, or anger and temper when seen in sparks. Orange, emotional balance or kidney and womb problems, or an illness just passed. Yellow, alertness, creativity and intellect, or lack of confidence when dull. Green, healing, unconditional love and balance or uncompassionate and rigid when dull. Pink, love and loving, no fears. Blue, healing, a good communicator, good listener, or glum and throat and energy problems Indigo, can mean insight, intuition, psychism, or blinded by our own rigidity, looking at things the wrong way. Violet, is a sign of awareness and cosmic and spiritual consciousness, or it can be from a closed or rigid mind, lack of concentration and memory. Silver and gold, are always good colours, and always means the person is spiritual. White is the whole spectrum, all the colours in the rainbow, combined to perfection. There are combinations of colours, as in peach there are many mixtures as with orange and pink, greens and blues, there is also a turquoise shade that is making its presence felt, more and more. This is a mixture of the blue and green and is the colour of a healer, psychic and teacher, the transformation colour. I can actually see a new chakra between the heart and the throat on people who are exceptionally gifted, this chakra is turquoise. COMPLEMENTARY THERAPIESThere are many and varied therapies, known as alternative or complimentary therapies. All in their own way alternating and complimenting medicine. They all work and all come back to the basic method of clearing energy blocks and bringing healing to the whole body. Medicine treats the patient of the symptoms. Complimentary therapies, look behind the symptoms, to the reason of the symptom, and treat the cause. Understanding the person as a whole person is the basic principle of all holistic therapies. Worries, fears, low esteem, stress and a lack of confidence, can all bring a lack of ease into the mind and body, creating dis-ease. Dis-ease can be caused from a physical, mental, emotional or physiological blocks. Alternative or complimentary therapies look at them all, we look at the whole being, the clients background, home life, family, job, and even go back sometimes as far as their birth and beyond, to find the root cause of the problem. We feel that unless you understand the main problem and the client, you cannot help them fully. Whichever therapy you choose, I would advice you to stick to it; I do not think swapping and changing is a good idea, although they all do work well together. The fear I have with people hopping from one to another, is the person seems to be handing over the full responsibility to another person and not taking enough interest in their own cure. It takes honesty and dedication to heal. It would be of little use to you, if I said, I could help you, if you stay away from such and such and come to me for healing. If you decide to carry on taking such and such, regardless. The only person you would be fooling and harming is you. If you decide to stay rigid in your way of thinking, your body will become rigid no matter what I or others might try to do to help. All the therapies are too numerous to mention. There are breathing and relaxation therapies, exercise and diet therapies, acupuncture with or without needles, massage therapies, magnetic, manipulation and reflexology therapies and analysis. Colour and healing therapies by the score. Chakra balancing and healing, which removes the blocks which we have put there. They all do the job; some are more effective than others, getting right to the source of the problem, in as short a time as possible. If you have chosen a therapy, my suggestion would be to listen to your therapist carefully, if they are doing their utmost to achieve positive results your input is essential. You do not have to believe in your therapy for healing to work, but you must believe that you can be healed. We only heal when we are ready to heal, the time must be right and it must be in our best interest to heal all going well, we will heal, as long as our time is not up. We always receive healing on some level of our being. If our time is up and it is our appointed time to go home, hopefully a good therapist will teach a client/patient about the spirit world and why we are all here right now. I have found that people who are dying and know they are dying, want to talk, want people to listen to them and want above all else honesty and answers. Healing a person who is getting ready to pass on is a truly beautiful Experience for you and for them. I always use pale blue light in healing of the dying. Never think doing healing on someone passing is too late, it is never too late, healing always goes where it is most needed, in most cases it brings a sense of peace and acceptance. There are some therapies we ought to avoid, e.g. if there is a cancer present in the body, we should not have any type of massage or reflexology, these all stimulate the lymph. The lymphatic system should not be stimulated where cancer is in the body. Healthy eating means choosing foods that give us the nourishment and nutrients our body needs to grow, repair itself and carry out vital chemical processes. A good diet must also give us enough energy to stay fit and healthy. Carbohydrates, proteins and fats are needed in relatively large quantities, to provide energy and build up body tissues. Vitamins and minerals are needed in much smaller quantities, to help the body function properly. A good diet must contain fibre, to keep the digestion healthy. Food should not contain additives such as colorants, flavourings or preservatives. Carbohydrates; in their natural, unrefined state, are highly nutritious and are our most valuable immediate resource of energy. They can and should be taken in substantial quantities. Starchs, should make up most of our daily intake of carbohydrates, the best sources are, breads, oats, rice and other grains, beans, peas and potatoes, we ought to cut down on red meats, fats, fried foods and refined sugar. Proteins; are the body builders and form the basic structure of muscles, tendons, bones and other tissues. Without proteins, the body cannot repair itself, or create new cells. Proteins can give the same energy, ounce for ounce as carbohydrates, but their prime value is as a building material. Protein containing foods are meat, fish, eggs, cheese, wheat, nuts, a great deal of proteins are not recommended, mainly because any surplus is eventually converted and stored into fat. The proteins that contain a lot of fat are animal foods, milk, cheese, meat and eggs. Fats; a healthy diet must contain some fats, because they form vital parts of the structure of body cells. They are also our main source of insulation beneath the skin and around the organs. Fats are essential for the absorption into the body of the fat-soluble vitamins, A, D, E, & K. We ought to eat less fat because it is the most concentrated form of food and an over use will cause obesity. Minerals and vitamins; are needed in very small quantities, the best source is veg, fruit and their juices, dairy products, cereals, meat, eggs, salads and fish. There are certain foods we should not eat, the obvious ones are diabetics, can not have any sugar. People with heart trouble should not take too much fat. Arthritics should not take sugar and dairy produce. Candida and cancer sufferers should not have any yeast, sugar or mushrooms. MS sufferers should not have a diet too high in protein. Children, who are hyperactive, should be kept away from sugar and colouring substances. People, who have skin problems, should avoid acid and greasy food. There is a simple way of detecting just what does and does not agree with our own systems, look at the health problem and see which food you are eating mostly, this will be the one you ought to avoid. Pork should not be eaten by any of us, it is full of acid and fat, and the safest red meat is lamb. We should be eating more fish, fowl, fruit, veg and salads. STAY HEALTHYChange your way of life to become healthier, change your way of thinking to ensure your good health. Keep your diet simple, a little of everything is good for you, never overdo anything. If you eat a healthy diet, take enough daily exercise, learn to relax and switch off, have a positive mental attitude, towards your self and others, get enough sleep at night, we cannot help but stay healthy. The things to avoid mostly are, too much red meat, fat or greasy foods, pork, salt, sugar, carbonated drinks, white bread, too much alcohol, and too much tea and coffee. Detox your system on a regular basis. If we keep the lymphatic system and bloodstream clear, no illness or disease will be able to take hold, it will have nowhere to lodge. To clear the bloodstream and improve the circulation, take a half-tsp. of cayenne pepper mixed with some organic cider, at least three mornings a week, unless you have stomach problems such as an ulcer. As circulation improves, this can be cut back to once a week. It is pretty awful to take, but it works. Garlic and onions are also good for the bloodstream. To clear the lymphatic system, this is the body’s natural filtering system. Have at least three hot Epsom salt baths a week, with a half a mug of Epsom salts; this is tiring, so take the bath at night. Take a half-tsp. of castor oil, last thing every night followed by a half glass of warm water. This clears your lymphatic system as you sleep. It also clears allergies and snoring. For pains and aches in the joints, use peanut oil as a rub, Epsom salts baths, and take castor oil nightly. For those with arthritis cut out all dairy produce, sugar and fats. For people with candida and cancer, cut out all yeast, alcohol, sugar and mushrooms form your diet. Do not have any form of massage. Go for healing as soon as possible and continue at least once a week. Learn to visualise. The greatest cause of imbalance in our systems is over acid intake. Our chemical balance should be 80% alkaline, 20% acid, if the acid goes up we get sick. Tiredness, lethargy, listlessness, lack of decent sleep and irritability, tired legs and headaches, can all be signs of an underactive thyroid, a sluggish immune system, and an over acid system. Atomidine is the remedy for this, which is an Edgar Cayce remedy, and it works. A castor oil packs on the liver, in a nine-day cycle, three nights on, three nights off, three on. Will not only clear the liver, but also draw out toxins from the rest of the body as well, clearing all the organs. Look at the health problem that you have, and look at your attitudes towards it. Our attitude determines our state of health far more than we realise. Change you way of life now, by changing the way you are thinking about it. We create every ache and pin and illness we have, so who better to cure it, than ourselves. I believe we can cure everything. If we are in the right frame of mind, eating healthily, being honest with ourselves and taking enough fresh air and exercise. By letting the past go, not holding onto any old grudges or resentments, accepting ourselves and others just as we are, we cannot be anything other than healthy. Learning patience and tolerance of others, and ourselves brings with it a feeling of inner peace and contentment. Stop being ruled and conditioned by others standards, the only standards we need to abide by are our own. We are all aware and sensible enough to know what is right for us. Let other people decide for themselves just what is right for them; we have absolutely no right to put our views and opinions on any other human being. Arguing with anyone is a total waste of time, nobody has ever one an argument. Freedom to us all is the utmost importance to us all, none of us like to feel as is we are under the influence or shackled by another human being. We all have a mind, body, spirit, soul and brain. We can all as adults think for ourselves and it is imperative for our own growth and evolution we do so. Humans do not like feeling trapped any more than animals do. It is a fait accompli that if we have a feeling of being trapped we will most definitely try and break free from the very person we feel is blocking our freedom. No one, no matter how strong they are can stop us from being free mentally, the rest will follow. Changes
We are living in a changing world. A new age hopefully of awareness and enlightenment. We have destroyed the earth with pollution. We dig underground for fuels and minerals, burn toxins that spread toxic fumes; we create chemical and substances that cannot be destroyed.Nature has a way of looking after itself. The earth will cleanse itself from the destruction which we have caused. The earth is shifting on its axis, slowly now, the experts tell us, but it will give one giant shift, that we will all be aware of. The ice caps are melting, so oceans will rise, lands will sink. Wherever forests are destroyed there will be famines. There will be weather changes all over the world, which have already begun. The movement of the earth will disturb dormant volcanoes, which will begin to erupt. There will be earthquakes in places unheard of before. There will be very strong hurricanes and tornadoes. The weather changes will be felt from East to West and from North to South. We will all be affected. There is a lot of work to do, to put a stop to what has been going on, the earth changes cannot be avoided, but maybe we can lessen the blow, on us all. The earth is not the only thing that’s changing. People are changing all over the globe. There is a raising of vibrations being felt by a lot of people, this has happened by people raising their own consciousness, becoming aware and open to all that’s happening around them. These people are also opening up psychically and will hopefully be ready to deal with problems. Changing this booklet has been put on the long finger for long enough I think! Time to update. Always remain open to change in your own life. We feel life is the way it is and will remain that way forever, not so, as I can testify to. If you want change in your life then you have to make that change. I was married for twenty three years; I had a son and a daughter, a lovely home in Clontarf and a busy Healing and Teaching Centre. Then my life changed totally, because I wanted change. In 1995 I knew my marriage was over and asked my husband for a divorce, the poor man thought I had lost the plot. Many people stay in relationships for no other reason than they think that having made their bed, they should lie in it, or what will people say, stuff. I was not one of those people I knew my marriage was over there was no growth for either of us in this marriage. I believe we all come together in whatever type of relationship for lots of reasons, love being the most important element. We each have something to offer the other, teaching and learning as we progress. When trust and love is gone, the teaching and learning is gone and communication dries up. It is time to move on. Which is what I did, I was a lot happier and freer after this. I continued on my healing and teaching work, my children came and went as college students do. I was free to follow my own star. In 2002 quite by chance, if there is any such thing! I met Philip Sutcliffe, a wonderful, intelligent, articulate and spiritual English gentleman. We fell head over heels in love and yet again, I changed my life completely. Sold my home, gave up my business and we moved to Moraira, Spain. We had the most beautiful Villa overlooking the Mediterranean. Our life was pure bliss. We got married twice, once spiritually and once legally in 2003. Our magical spiritual wedding was performed by Paddy McMahon; we celebrated our new love, new life in our own home in beautiful sunshine with 150 family and friends from eight different Countries. Living in Spain was just magnificent, loving, peaceful, exciting and joyful. I would recommend anyone marrying for the second time to take at least four years honeymoon! Although we were inundated with guests throughout our time in Spain, we missed being close to family and friends, but what we sadly missed was the warmth of the Irish, those green fields of home are not just a myth, and I missed my work. Yet another surprise was just around the corner for us. Paddy McMahon phoned us one day and told us to book ourselves into an intensive mediumship course being run in Stansted, London. So we flew to London, arrived at the gorgeous mansion of Arthur Findley College. When we arrived, Philip was rather dubious about doing all aspects of the course, stating he would do the meditations which he was accustomed to, and lectures, but not attend the classes, thinking he was not psychic like everyone else attending. I persuaded him to give the first class a go, which he did. That first class in intensive mediumship, not only blew me away, but the whole College. Not to mention the effect it had on Philip. Philip discovered on that very first day that he was a Medium. Being told to sit opposite someone and wait for whatever was going to happen, was alien to Philip. But unknown to Philip he didn’t have to wait for long! He was thrown backwards off his chair as he saw what he describes as, a man on a mobile phone in a white van heading straight for him, hitting him and throwing him up and over into a ditch. Daily Philip’s mediumship bloomed. From someone who didn’t think he belonged in this group, he became the star of ninety pupils. This staggering event was Philip’s introduction to Mediumship and the world of Spirit. Since then his mediumship has become even stronger and more precise, as do all psychic abilities, the more you use them the stronger they become. With Philip wanting to use his Mediumship and me missing my work, we decided it was time to return to Ireland. Although Philip speaks several languages it is definitely easier to work in our field with your own native tongue. In 2006 Philip and I moved to Co Wexford, Ireland. It is certainly different from living in Dublin, which was all I was used to and certainly different in so many ways during what was or is called the Celtic Tiger. Since leaving Ireland in 2002 many things have changed, some for the better, some for the worse.
