The Birds The Birds
When you are in this field of
work, you can always expect the unusual or something extraordinary to happen. The simple things are
just knowing what is wrong with a client, or knowing when something is going to happen.
There are a lot of little things that happen constantly, which you get
so used to, and just ignore them, like electricity, I have a strange effect on electrical
appliances, or maybe they have a strange effect on me, I am not sure which. But I get shocks
constantly; I even give people shocks sometimes when I touch them. MY oven, stereo, and television
come on regularly on their own. A clock that hadn’t worked for about five years suddenly began
working suddenly one morning, giving a loud chime and nearly making me jump our of my skin, one
morning when I was meditating. The clock was battery operated and had no battery in it. When it
eventually stopped ticking, many hours later, we put a battery in it and it works perfectly to this
day. Which was rather convenient because we had tried so many times to fix this particular
clock?
Another unusual thing happened one day while I was sitting in the
garden reading. It was a beautiful summer’s day. My husband, at that time, was gardening. For some
reason we both looked up at the same time and saw what we thought were about twelve or thirteen
white birds, like doves flying above my head in a circle. I immediately brought the dog into the
house in case he scared them away and brought out bread to feed these birds. As I was going back
outside I realised that the dog had taken absolutely no notice of the birds and the birds had not
taken any notice of the dog.
I also noticed something eerie about these birds, they were flying
very low, but there was no sound at all from them. I walked down to the end of the garden to give
the birds the bread when we noticed they were following me. I began scattering the bread, but they
were not interested. I walked around the garden just to see what was going to happen. The birds
followed wherever I went. We were both amazed as to why they were there and what was going
on.
This went on for so long and intrigued us so much that we went back
down to the patio to sit down and watch this phenomena. After a while as the birds were circling
they just seemed to vanish in front of our eyes. T o this day I don’t know why that happened or
what it was all about, but at least with this I had another
eyewitness.
