A Course in Miracles     

   Reality

A Course in Miracles assures us that, even though what we experience while in a body on this planet seems to us to be very real, what we have made with our independent will is nothing more than an illusion. Everything that is not part of God's Will is an illusion.

Functioning in this ego world as a son of man, it is difficult, if not impossible, for us to see our self as we really are: a Son of God. We might permanently be trapped by our illusions if it were not for God's gift to us, the Holy Spirit. The Holy Spirit communicates with God, a capability that has atrophied in most of us. He is the Voice for God within us. The Holy Spirit also watches us project, then perceive an incomplete conclusion, upon which we base an incorrect judgment, and is able to take all that and return to our mind His perception, a judgment in keeping with God's Will.

In addition to this assistance, the Holy Spirit is the mechanism for the enactment of miracles. And, He is the Guide through the circle of fear into the Real World. What a true friend! What a wonderful companion! Such a gift from God is, for me, proof that He loves us very much, even though we are pursuing this tiny, mad idea.
